Dr Privacy (Alexis Perdereaux-Weekes), EDBA-IS, J.M, MSIS, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CDPSE, CPFA, CPSP., is a subject matter expert in Cyber Security, Risk Management, Data Privacy, Computing, Information Assurance, and IT strategy. Dr Privacy ® is the Co-founder of CyberMINDS Research Institute a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, he chairs the Cybersecurity and Information Privacy Policy Committee and is an active member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) where he is a commitment to education and mentorship.
A global Speaker on the topics of cybersecurity and Data Privacy he collaborates with experts and organizations to develop cutting-edge strategies for managing cybersecurity and privacy risks. He also serve as a founding member of Cyversity South Florida Chapter, working to increase representation and inclusion in the cybersecurity field.

His academic background fuels his passion for research and innovation.
He holds a Doctorate in Information Security, a Master’s in Information Security, and a Juris Master’s in Privacy and Cybersecurity Law. His research focuses on Global Data Privacy Regulations, Risk Management, Biometrics, and Consumer Data Protection, analyzing how regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and HIPAA influence consumer behavior.
Beyond his professional roles, Dr. Perdereaux-Weekes holds multiple prestigious certifications, including CISM, CISA, CRISC, and CDPSE, reinforcing his expertise in cybersecurity and data protection. He actively contributes to industry committees, think tanks, and policy discussions, shaping the future of data privacy and cybersecurity governance.
